Speak Up Now!

This is some of the shit we've already heard.

"We ain't got no toilet paper to wipe our a$$es bruh, no soap or paper towels to clean our hands"
"We got to wear stupid uniforms and have to pay $2 when we don't have our uniform"
"We treated like criminals and thrown into CSI all day for no reason, sent to detention or suspended also"
"Our lunch food is nasty and sometimes it's expired. Some of us have had maggots in our food"
"We sit in overcrowded classes like sardines where we don't fit and can't learn"
"We got roaches, mice, and cockroaches all over the building...NASTY"
"All we do is take tests and practice to take more tests. This ain't learning"
"Our teachers say that they're treated bad by the principal and administrators too!"

Now it's your turn to speak up and speak out! Click below to share your comments.

If you want to send us pictures of Iber's fuck-ups, email them to  NoMoreDictatorIber@gmail.com.

  3. Um wtf is this these are STUDENTS that have problems with iber and OUR administration. NO TEACHERS WERE INVOLVED.

  4. Man fuck iber i dont ever have toilet paper to wipe my ass. Got me walking around the scool clenching my ass cheeks just to get around.
Ther ratio of cockaroaches to students is almost equal meanwhile we dont have 1/6 of that in teachers and staff.
Got me stuffed up in a class with these kids that smell like shit.
The janitors here dont do shit. No wonder this looks and smells like a fuckin zoo.
These broke ass Administrators would rather make you stay in CSI all day instead of getting an education.
This whole system is fucked up, and dont let me get on mr. Clairmont with his non existent hairline.
Im fed up of this bullshit ive been here since mr. Lewis was here and this is a bad change. And dont hate on ms quintero cause she has the balls to speak up against what goes wrong.

    1. Ain't shit about racism its how we are treated. We barely have paper to wipe our hands, water to wash our hands, soap to soap our hands. Its not like the school broke. They got money but want to treat us as if were in prision.

  6. This ain't have nuthin to do with color man, it's about how you run a damn school and this guy don't know shit

  7. Honestly it is the responsibility of the students that attend the school to ensure proper etiquette. By this I mean primarily throwing away items in trash cans, if that happened then you wouldn't have to pick up trash on Saturday. I graduated in 2010, the first graduating class of the new school back then we all held each other accountable for throwing away trash in the proper bins. Also, racism? Really? It's the 21st century, albeit I believe it may still exist minutely in small pockets of America but here in North Miami where the demographics are mostly of color would just not make sense.. I'm certain there is an amicable settlement you could reach with Mr. Iber. Be the change you want to see..

    1. Thank you for this. You learn somethin new every day! I always thought my house and buildings in general got dirty due to the natural accumulation of dust, dirt, etc as people walk and do their stuff daily. But now I know that it's just because some dumb poor dirty kids probably don't follow "proper etiquette" and throw shit all over the place. Funny, cause I've never seen one of these despicable poor kids in my house throwing trash in my kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living room. I guess they come when nobody is home and trash my house. I thought that its the responsibility of the people who run a school to ensure that proper cleaning and maintenance is done regularly, but now I know that its the sole responsibility of students to do this. Thanks for enlightening us you stupid motherfucker

    2. the whole system was molded and influenced by the Jim Crow Southern culture what do you mean small pockets??

      Delete
    3. we're not saying he is racist but the policies are racists. it is a white skin man who allows students to be punished, miss class time, only for us to pick up garbage all around the school for free. like if my parents send me to school to pick up trash

      Delete
    4. It's good to see that you don't think that he is a racist. I agree! Funny how so many are hating on him when he supports cops and not kids that don't know how to follow the law.
I'm smart enough to know that I run at a cop (or anyone with a gun) in agressif manner I might get shot. Simple! U listen get on the ground and defuse tentions. Don't resist

  8. Hahahahaha! Typical poor, ill-raised, uneducated students; blaming the principal and finances. Do you know how much money your school has/had in equipment and infrastructure? Were you there when the "new" school came to be? It was a brand new facility, equipped with the latest in technology. By the end of its first year, you couldn't even tell that it was a new facility a year ago.

There is no one to blame other than yourselves, the student body. You are a disrespectful, inconsiderate, and an UNGRATEFUL youth. The problem lies with you and your attitudes, your mindsets.

If you want your school to improve, only you can change it. Come up with your own ideas and implement them, that's what the student government is for; not a popularity contest.
Clean your act up. Rid your minds of foul language, distractions, and negativity. Be the change.

    Wake up.

    1. Thank you! This was beautifully said. I agree the principal and staff are a bit overbearing towards teachers and students and some rules are ridiculous like CSI all day but the students need to stop the rude attitudes and respectfully get things done. Support the few teachers who have been thrown on the black list for speaking up and dont just say you do when you would be one to throw trash on the floor and not care. Things are as bad as we make it.

      Delete
    2. I'm sure the students are as guilty as the principal, But, really? Did you have to refer to them as "Typical poor, uneducated " students. What does being poor have to do with this? Why don't you do your job as a principal to educate them and not packing them like sardines and treating them like slaves. No school in a white or affluent neighborhood would put students on detention just to make them work for free, like slaves. They used to make us come on Saturdays and work like slaves, I never thought anything of it. Your choice of words shows how you truly feel about those poor uneducated children of immigrants.

      Delete
    3. Maybe the students seem "uneducated" to you because of the low quality education Iber gives us. Instead of focusing on high standardized test scores (what do we learn from those) and punishing us that we always miss class, he should focus on providing us a fair and equal education in which we learn valuable and relevant stuff.

      Delete
    4. And be the change? Shouldn't the administration be in charge of leading the change? I know I can throw a piece of paper into the trash can but does Iber even know how to deal with the kids that attend his school? Does he even care?

      Delete
    5. How is not having toilet paper. paper towels, or soap OUR fault? Please explain that to me someone. And why do my friends have to sit in a crowded ass chemistry class with 40 + other kids? This is not the fault of the principal? of course it is. Doesn't he run the school?

      Delete
    6. Quit stealing the tp ,towels ,and soap and there will be some there !Overcrowding is more the superintendent then the principal.

  9. Honestly, If you guys fo want a change this is not the way to go! You are representing yourself as very uneducated, disrespectful and ignoranrs students. By far, as I am concern, I am a student myself and di not see any problems with Mr.Iber. The nan is supportive, always want to be involve in studebt activities, so on and so fourth. Once, you get to know him, you will see the type of person ge really is but he will never get that chance because everyone don't appreciate gim because mr.Lewis left. Just think, before Mr.Lewis there was another principle. He was not here forever. Yes, I agree tge school is not perfect but the way you guys are approaching the problems will not solve anything but get them worse. If yoy guys really want a change, gind another alternative to this website. Come up with A professional, non-derogatory and last but not least iintelligent plan not this messy website. It doesn't look good on the students and the administration.

  10. As a former Miami Dade student and graduate I congratulate the current students for doing this. It was bout time. Sometimes when nobody else steps up to the tell truth we have to di it ourselves. Dictators must come down. And everybody should care about students getting a REAL education. We are the future, right? For the few haters here I just wish to remind everybody that on every plantation there will always be house slaves and sell-outs who will be looking out for themselves and will want to be on the good side of the master instead of standing with his people to fight for what's right. That's a damn shame but most people are not like this. Thankfully there are people out there who will get up and stand up for our rights. I applaud you and keep up the fight!!!

  11. Omg like who made this? Are you stupid or are you stupid? What is a blogspot going to do for you. This act is so cowardly to me. If you have a problem with the school administration speak up. Don't sit behind the screen and be a computer ninja. It's obvious that you guys dont even know what a dictator is so stop misusing the damn word. Who raised you guys? When have you heard of change without work. This blogspot is a sign of complete foolishness. Instead of making active changes and coming up with goal initiatives some idiot or a group of idiots decided to vent on the web which is going to create more problems than solve. Yes I agree that there are certain areas that the school can improve upon, but on the same token you have to take into account that the problems at North Miami are not derived from any malicious intent from any of our administrators. Im not backing anyone up but at the end of the day, this is a very poor way to go about serious issues in our school.

Then why do you think that the administrators don't have no malicious intent? Do you really believe this or are you 5 years old? Grow up snotty. Iber and them only care about gettin paid and covering they asses. We are the last thing they care about.

    5. Sheba is oh so right. Excellent, Sheba. Of course, some people just can't deal with the truth. Actually, I'm glad this blog is here. That way, when I want a good laugh, I can just read this, and not have to tune in to Comedy Central. I really want to know where this perfect school is, a school that's always immaculately clean, where nobody is ever punished for anything, where every class is like at university, where there are no rules, etc, etc. I'm sure it's not on this planet, but maybe in another galaxy. The students who really want things to be different are already working on that. The others are just here whining and moaning here in cyberland. And, of course, most of this is obviously being posted by dissatisfied teachers who aren't honest or brave enough to confront the administration face to face and work on improving the school from within.

      Delete
    6. I didn't know you were running a study in the school to see how many students and teachers are actually satisfied with the administration. maybe you live in your little bubble and aren't aware of what students and teachers go through but part of the reason why this blog was created was not to make you laugh but make unaware people like you aware of what this dictatorship does to students and teachers whenever they speak up.

After collecting every bit of funds from the students.. wtf we cant eat without an ID. Nothing is ever on time with that hell hole. Its depressing really, shoutout to class of 15 for making it n good luck to the up coming classes may God be with you cuz the devil (Iber) is a lie.

    2. Not necessarily it doesn't take much to create a blog and give it anonymous options. Iber sucked but we were taught enough to know his to create a blog... Well those of us who payed attention.

  17. Honest to say the staff excluding a few , they did not care about the students and they honestly show it the school as a whole lacks moral they lie to the students they keep us from getting an education that is why I was one of the few who got the fuck out of there and since then ive been doing way better with my school work and my teachers actually help you succed but at North Miami I remember my teacher Ms.Williams would tell me im a slave and nothing but a soon to be inmate the school in its self has gone down hill since Mr.lewis left

  21. Who are we to judge? We have all said things that we wish we could take back and we all have done things that we regret. NO ONE is perfect. Just because he is a principal it does not mean he will not make mistakes and it certainly does not mean there's no room for growth. No I am not happy with Mr. Iber's comments (I have children too) however he is a wonderful human being that does not see color. SO NO HE IS NOT A RACIST. If anyone was to take the time to get to know him as an individual they would not blow the situation up as if he has committed a crime. Mr. Iber is a team player that wants what is in the best interest of his students and staff. He is a principal that does not have the support system that he needs. He strives to make it his business that all his students and staff have an equal opportunity. Yes Mr. Iber wants his students to get to school on time, yes he wants them to be prepared for all the testes that are mandatory for the students to take, yes he wants a safe environment on and around school grounds, yes he wants a relationship with the police officers, community, students, and staffs. He is trying his best and has been given a hard time since day one because he is not a Haitian principal and because he is not black. I would think that getting the job done would be the focus. If I've offended anybody I apologize but I'm just being honest.

  23. When the did people decide that it was the responsibility of students to maintain a school in order? Students are not paid to clean the school, cook, or provide each other with an education. This is the job of ADULTS, especially a trained adult in head of all the other trained adults known as a PRINCIPAL. There are paid adults that have to do these things. If janitors don't want to clean a school, do you know what you do to them? Fire them. It's their job. Places get dirty when there isn't any people there and they sure do get dirty when there's a lot of children, because that's what these students are, children, believe it or not. Making children clean the school they attend instead of focusing on their education and finding more effective ways to make sure they are in class is absolutely horrible. As for the standardized testing, it's very sad to hear that the education of students in public schools has evolved into focusing around good standardized test grades. I am extremely proud of these students for making sure THEIR VOICE is heard. Children have as much of a right to have their voices heard and count as any other person. I hope this page gets into the hands of people with much more power in the matter and the situation of these students is addressed. If the students did not care for their education, they wouldn't have made this page to begin with. It is very devastating to hear about this and I just hope that this principal resigns or is fired and replaced by one that is much more adequate and better trained to accommodate to the needs of the students in this community.

I dont know what school is always on point with having clean restrooms and replenshied toilet paper. Maybe he wasn't a good principal but some people are just looking for something to blame on that man. People have families and reputations. Everyone that's complaining have the right to contact the district and go to the media. Not bold enough but want to talk shit about people who are. Smh.

Why is there zero tolerance against students but you want to excuse the actions of people in high places who misuse their power? Why not zero tolerance against them?
